No. KKUMI only collects a small booking deposit ($20) at the time of confirmation. The remainder is paid directly at the clinic, salon, or spa on the day of your visit.

Yes. Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the appointment are free. Changes can be made via the My → Bookings tab, or by replying to your booking confirmation email.

For most treatments, 2–5 days ahead is enough. For wedding or photo shoot makeup, popular hair stylists, and lifting sessions, we recommend booking 1–2 weeks ahead.

Every KKUMI-listed partner goes through:

• License verification (clinic, salon, spa registration)
• Insurance & emergency response check for international visitors
• Language support audit (English, plus Japanese / Chinese where available)
• On-site visit by the KKUMI team

If a partner does not meet our standards, we do not list them.

All KKUMI partners provide a 24-hour aftercare contact. You can also reach the KKUMI support team via WhatsApp / LINE / KakaoTalk. We help relay your situation in Korean to the partner if needed.

Most certified medical partners have international patient insurance. We recommend confirming the specific policy details during your in-clinic consultation. KKUMI's safety guide is also available on the About page.

Yes — the listed price on KKUMI matches what the partner charges. There are no hidden booking fees. Sometimes KKUMI offers exclusive package discounts for visitors who book through us.

The KKUMI platform supports English (default), Korean, Japanese, Simplified & Traditional Chinese, and a growing list of other languages. All booking forms and aftercare instructions can be issued in your preferred language.

Yes. After your visit, the KKUMI partner provides a written aftercare guide (including procedure summary, dos & don'ts, emergency contact) in your preferred language.

Low-downtime treatments leave no visible peeling or redness for more than 24 hours. They are ideal for travelers with photo shoots, events, or upcoming flights. KKUMI tags every treatment with its downtime category.

For low-downtime treatments (hydration glow, gentle peels), yes. For lasers, lifting, or deep peels, we recommend 3–7 days before flying. Detailed downtime info is shown on each partner's page.
